BILQIS Fieldwork Collaboration with Nahla: Workshops on Social Identity Formation

During her recent fieldwork in Bosnia and Herzegovina, BILQIS Research Associate Đermana Kurić worked in partnership with the Centre for Education and Research, Nahla (Bosnia and Herzegovina). In November 2025, she delivered a series of workshops on Social Identity Formation in three cities: Tuzla, Bihać, and Sarajevo.
The workshops created a friendly and open environment for women to discuss how social identities are shaped, lived, and negotiated in everyday life. This collaboration forms part of BILQIS’s broader commitment to engaging with community organisations and grounding research in lived experience.
